General Aims

• To take into account the implications of equal opportunity legislation when developing the Student Uniform Policy.
• To provide a detailed written statement of the expectations that the School Council holds with regard to student appearance.
• To incorporate all requirements that enable both genders to participate actively and safely in school life.
• To enable sanctions to be applied to students whose dress does not comply with the policy.

Uniform Swap Stall
Occasionally the parents & Friends run a Uniform Swap Meet. This gives the families at the school an opportunity to bring in any uniform in good condition that are no longer used, and swap them for sizes available. Details are advised via the newsletter, website, facebook and the Skoolbag App,

Purpose
The implementation of the Student Uniform Policy is designed to improve individual student safety and group security and will assist all students to develop a sense of collective identity, ownership and pride in the school.
