What is Compass?
​
Using Compass allows you to access up-to-date and meaningful information about our school and your child’s progress. Compass includes many different features, including the ability to:
  • Monitor your child’s attendance, and enter an explanation for absence or lateness
  • Communicate with your child’s teachers, and update your family contact details
  • View your child’s timetable and the school calendar
  • Monitor your child’s homework and assessment tasks
  • Download and view your child’s progress and semester reports
  • Book parent-teacher conferences
  • Pay and provide consent for events and school fees

Our school will advise parents when each of these features becomes available for parent use.

KioskLite
We are always working at streamlining our processes to improve your time at school and have installed at the office a Compass KioskLite arrivals/departures system. 
 
This is only required for pick up and drop offs (arrivals and departures) once the school day has commenced and not a requirement for every day drop.
 
Steps – Parent Drop-Off
  1. Please accompany your child to the school office and sign in
  2. The sign in is at the right hand side of the office desk
  3. Touch the screen > click on Parent Drop-off  > type student name (note that you can click on your child’s photo that pops up) > collect the paper “Arrival Pass’
  4. Once you have signed in and have the arrival pass, please accompany your child to the classroom and give the pass to the teacher
 
Steps – Parent Pick-Up
  1. Please come via the school office and sign in at the KioskLite located at the right hand side of the office desk
  2. Touch the screen > click on Parent Pick-up  > type student name (note that you can click on your child’s photo that pops up) > collect the paper “Departure Pass’
  3. Take the pass with you to give to your child’s teacher
 
Sick Bay Pick-Ups
  1. When you arrive at the office, the office staff will print your pass as part of the sick bay exit
  2. The office staff will give you your pass to take to the teacher and collect your child’s bag
