Annual Implementation Plan
Important Dates for Parents
Term 3 - Remote Learning
18th Sept- Last day of Term 3
5th October - First day of Term 4
5th - 9th October - All students cont. Remote Learning
12th October - F-2 Students return to face to face teaching.
Remote and flexible learning continues for all students in Grades 3-6 – except for vulnerable children and children of permitted workers.
The date of the return of 3-6 students to on site learning is subject to health advice.
Following advice from the Victorian Government on Tuesday 7 April,
OAK PARK PRIMARY SCHOOL will be moving to remote and flexible learning from Term 2 (beginning with a pupil-free day).
This is a step all Victorian government schools are taking to help slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). This means that all students who can learn at home must learn from home. This is a very clear directive from the Victorian Government based on the advice of the Chief Health Officer.
We will continue to offer limited on-site learning for those students who need to access this, including for students on days when they are not able to be supervised at home and no other arrangements can be made. We will provide further information about this shortly.
The Department’s latest advice on coronavirus can be found at https://www.education.vic.gov.au/coronavirus
It is important that we work together and support each other during this challenging time. We will be in touch with staff and parents and carers shortly with further details of what remote and flexible learning will look like at our school.
In the meantime, you might find it useful to look at the Department’s Learning from Home website. It provides resources and guidance for teachers and parents and carers. https://www.education.vic.gov.au/about/department/Pages/learningfromhome.aspx
Please note Oak Park Primary School have cancelled the School Tours due on May 19th & 21st May
Enrolments for 2021 are now open. Thanks to everyone who has dropped off enrolment forms for their child so far, it helps us enormously.
If you have a younger child due to start school at Oak Park Primary School next year, you are welcome to complete an enrolment as soon as possible.
Please email Fran on Frances.Macdonough@education.vic.gov.au and we will forward one for your completion.
We do end up with quite a few new families on our waitlist, so would appreciate sibling enrolments to be in as early as you can
